Olympic Lifting

Our Olympic Lifting program is currently included in our CrossFit package so there is no extra cost.  Our goal is expose as many of our athletes to these lifts.  During these sessions we will drive home the importance of proper technique and body mechanics.  You will start with pvc pipe and every increase in weight is earned by demonstrating proper technique.  These lifts are the extremely complex and require a commitment and desire to succeed. 

Each session will start with warmup which includes: joint mobility exercises, a general warmup to increase core temperature, dynamic movements and a specific warmup to get you ready for the workout.  Following the warmup we will walk through the workout to ensure all athletes understand the focus and desired intensity of the movements to follow.  We use strength cycles and Bulgarian (technique) cycles to improve our athletes lifting ability.

Next Level Performance is also forming its own Olympic Lifting team.  Our team will travel to various local meets to compete, represent and learn more about the sport of Olympic Lifting.  If this is something you may be interested in please contact us for more information.
